Camp Parents Guide
Welcome to Enso Movement Camps
Thank you for choosing our unique, fun, and exciting camps filled with various activities, movement skills, physical education games, teamwork, and more. Our team believes that every child should have healthy and positive core memories for camps built from encouraging environments. We know our camps leave lifelong impressions on kids as memorable experiences.
The Camp Parent Manual provides information to help your camper have the most successful camp experience. Let us know if you have any questions.
Our Team
Our coaches are experienced, safe, and certified in parkour training methodologies. Unique to Enso Movement, our array of coaches has been certified through extensive parkour coaching programs such as ADAPT, APEX, or APK. Our staff’s qualifications bring diversity to perspectives, coaching practices, and risk management. We strive to ensure our students are challenged to their appropriate levels in class while prioritizing safety. All individuals on our coaching team are first-aid certified and CDC Heads-up Concussion certified.
Coaches are certified through a ten-week intensive program that advances individuals’ movement expertise, drills, practical application, class chemistry, and more. Additionally, our staff undergoes continuing education to stay current with the latest sports development, coaching, and safety practices.
We strive to maintain a 1:10 ratio for camp programs. At times, the ratio may be exceeded based on staff experience and the overall camp group.
Online Waiver
All participants in our recreational facilities must sign an online waiver. We only take electronic signatures via our online form. We do not take printed submissions and will not make modifications to our waiver for your camper’s participation.
Family Communication
We strive to communicate effectively through emails, phone calls, newsletters, and face-to-face conversations. Please be sure to have an updated email via our member portal.
Camp emails are sent the Friday prior to your camper’s first day of camp.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email us.

Behavior Expectations
Our behavior expectations are based on our core values of safety, respect, inclusion, honesty, and responsibility. When we can cultivate and act within safe and secure environments where all campers have an opportunity to learn, we demonstrate good behavior and character traits that ultimately lead to exciting, fun camps. In order to do this, all campers need to know and understand the rules and expectations we set for appropriate behavior at our camps.
Enso Movement does not allow any of the following behaviors including but not limited to:
- Any behavior or action that threatens the physical or emotional safety of camp participants, staff, or volunteers which may include, but is not limited to, insults, abusive jokes, slurs, threats, intimidation, patterned targeting, or name-calling.
- Any behavior that violates another individual’s personal boundaries.
- Any destructive behavior.
- Any behavior that is of sexual nature.
Difficult and/or inappropriate behavior in kids can sometimes be nuanced. Ultimately, our staff will make choices we believe is best for the camp participants and staff to ensure a healthy, fun, and positive camp environment.
Our camp teams hod a range of compassion and expertise in certain areas – our team are not mental health professionals, social workers, or 1:1 camper-to-staff support.
Bullying
We have a firm policy against bully. Each participant is expected to treat all other individuals respectfully and help each other achieve the best possible experience. Parents and guardians may be called if a participant has difficulty meeting this expectation. Our staff address all incidents of bullying seriously. Our team works with their campers and groups to ensure all participants receive safe and equitable opportunities.
Special Circumstances
The goals of our camp programs is to meaningfully include all camp individuals. We respectfully request parents or guardians to inform our staff of any special circumstances which may affect your child’s ability to participate prior to the start of the program. By providing information regarding the needs of your child, the staff can prepare helpful accommodations that will better serve all individuals in our camp programs.
Under some circumstances, our staff may request additional information to discuss accommodations that may need to be created to include your child to ensure their successful and meaningful participation.
Program Removal
We will support our campers the best we can to make camp and its programming successful. Should a camper need support that goes beyond what we can safely provide or should a situation escalate to a level where we can no longer safely find a resolution for the camper, an action plan may determine the need to remove a child from a program for any amount of time, including the remainder of the camp season or its programs entirely.
