Exercise – Straddle Leg Lifts

Straddle Leg Lifts are a fundamental conditioning exercise to improve our flexibility and progression towards handstands. This drill helps you to unlock splits, straddles, pikes, and better presses with a greater range of motion.

Sit down in a straddle position with your feet away from each other. You can sit on something to elevate your hips if needed. Place your hands on the ground or a small block in front of you. Push through your hands and pull your legs off the ground, leaving just your butt and hands on the ground. We recommend pointing the toes to exercise your leg lines.
