Shapes Tricking Seminar: One-Legged Tricks

Join us for a special tricking workshop taught by professional tricker and tricking coach, Adam Devenport. In this special workshop, you’ll learn and practice the technical aspects of one-legged tricks with an emphasis on the gainer, gainer-switch, and front webster.

  • Gainer – A backflip that moves your center-of-gravity forward.
  • Gainer-Switch – Gainer that switches legs and lands on the plant leg again.
  • Webster – A front flip off of one foot and takes off with a swing-through

This event includes a full-length warm-up & stretch followed by technical instruction of the three movements. You’ll be sure to leave with a better understanding of these moves and your next steps toward properly training these skills to ensure continuous progress. This seminar is for everybody, regardless of your skill or age.

Adam Devenport

Adam Devenport is a pro-tricking athlete and coach from Irmo, South Carolina. He holds a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, has coached for 14+ years, and is known worldwide for his front webster technique. Adam is the owner of SHAPES, a tricking brand curated by trickers for trickers to maintain the culture of tricking as an art and to connect with a larger community.
