The Hyper Butterfly Twist aka Hypertwist is an intermediate level transition skill in our tricking curriculum. It is a standalone trick that impresses by itself and is also an extremely versatile skill that transitions easily to other movements. Learning the Hyper Btwist is foundational to the progression of double b-twists, b-twist hyper hook, and more.<\/p>\n
If you twist to the left, start by turning into your butterfly stance, dip, and set like a butterfly twist or butterfly kick. Once you are in the air, initiate a butterfly twist, and begin rotating. Once you spot the ground as if you were going to land a b-twist, quickly switch legs and land on your right leg. The landing should be synonymous with a cartwheel landing. With that in mind, you can hypothetically combo into anything that you could connect with a cartwheel. If you prefer twisting to the right, mirror these directions.<\/p>\n
