Classes for Youth Students

The following on-going classes are open to current members that have met their respective level requirements.

Beginner Parkour (Level 2 – 3)
Now that you’ve dipped your toes in our fundamental Level 1, we’ll begin exploring more movement skills that will have you ascending to higher levels. Students of this class seek to build strength and to course obstacles. We hold higher expectations as these students begin to commit to learning parkour.

Intermediate Parkour (Level 4 – 6)
These students have shown a commitment to working hard on their foundational technical, strength, and endurance skills only to be further challenged. We hold very high expectations for these students to independently succeed in becoming quick traceurs.

Beginner Freerunning (Level 2 – 3)
You’ve covered the basics in our fundamental Level 1, now it’s time to explore flips and twists centered around creativity in movement. Students of this class learn how to use and move with obstacles creatively. We hold higher expectations as these students begin to commit to learning freerunning.

Intermediate Freerunning (Level 4 – 6)
These students have shown a commitment to working hard on their foundational technical and strength skills only to be further challenged. We hold very high expectations for these students to independently succeed in becoming creative freerunners.

Time Trials (Level 4+)
You’ve explored some basics in our introduction to parkour, now it’s time to put your speed to the test. How quick are you able to course obstacles while sticking to objectives? We’ll set the timers to see how fast you can conquer our speed challenges.

Parkour Strength (Level 4+)
Condition your body for the necessary strength to take your athleticism to the next level. We cover a variety of exercises. Great for any student looking to make gains outside of their technical classes. This class is free to all members. Parkour Strength is open to any Teen and Adult -OR- Youth that is Level 4+.

Wristband System

Our wristband system is a series of ten levels to help mark level-ups in progression of technique, strength, flexibility, and mindset! With safety being our highest priority, wristbands help us to designate students to the appropriate classes after they've shown us their ability to progress safely, demonstrate particular techniques / skillsets, hold enough experience, and embody a safe and strong mindset. Leveling up allows for new opportunities and privileges in the Enso Movement gym. Wristbands are required for class.

Wristbands must be earned in sequential order. During testing, a series of strength, endurance, and technical skills must be passed at 100%. Each part of the test allows for three opportunities before striking out. Upon completion of a passed or failed test, a coach will provide insight, tips, and feedback for the student to continue with improvement.

Band tests are done four times a year, following at best, school calendars. Check with our front desk or calendar for the next available testing date.
