Teen & Adult Parkour and Freerunning Level 1 Test Summary

All students must demonstrate a mastery of Parkour Level 1 Curriculum via our Level 1 Test. The test is pass or fail. To pass, students must succeed in every component of the test. Each component allows for three attempts. Failure to succeed in a component immediately ends the test.

Fitness

  • Hold a top support for twenty seconds, climb down into a cat hang to hold for five seconds
  • Demonstrate the ability to handstand against a wall for three seconds
  • Perform bodyweight lunges for fifty feet
  • Demonstrate five push-ups
  • Demonstrate five squats

Skills

  • Demonstrate a cartwheel with legs at least above horizontal
  • Perform a step, reverse step, and butt spin vault
  • Demonstrate a drop landing of waist height
  • Balance on a rail for fifteen seconds
  • Step under a bar at naval-height
  • Quadrupedal (Cat) for fifty feet
  • Perform a forward parkour roll
  • Perform a gymnastics roll
